The Rowe, Plug & Play and AV Upgrade, 61 Whitechapel High Street, London

Challenge Overview

Following the success of our initial connectivity project at The Rowe, Zetta Connect was instructed to deliver further enhancements to meet the evolving needs of its occupiers and visitors. This next phase focused on delivering a robust Wi-Fi solution across the 3rd and 4th floors, alongside advanced AV installations in meeting rooms and the 12th-floor Business Lounge.

The new works needed to create a plug-and-play infrastructure capable of supporting high-density wireless use, a particular challenge as Wi-Fi can be less predictable than hard-wired data connections. Stability, speed, and coverage were critical, ensuring a seamless experience for everything from casual browsing to bandwidth-heavy video conferencing.

The Zetta Solution

To guarantee optimal coverage, our team conducted a predictive Wi-Fi signal strength survey, determining the precise number and placement of access points to maximise performance. We then created a dedicated plug-and-play network by upgrading the landlord’s core network equipment in the basement, ensuring reliability and security for all users.

On the AV side, we equipped meeting rooms and the Business Lounge with BYOD-enabled conferencing technology, allowing users to connect their own devices with ease. This ensured smooth integration with existing workflows and supported both in-person and hybrid collaboration.

The Result

The upgraded Wi-Fi network now delivers fast, stable connectivity across all targeted areas, while the new AV systems provide a flexible, future-proofed meeting experience. Managed and maintained by Zetta Connect, these enhancements further cement The Rowe’s reputation as one of East London’s most digitally capable commercial buildings.
