At Campus, Reading International Business Park, our client required a fast and resilient connection between multiple cores of the site to support their business-critical services. With future growth in mind, they wanted infrastructure that would not only meet today’s needs but also be ready for expansion when required.
Zetta Connect delivered a tailored fibre solution designed for both performance and flexibility. We patched the Colt circuit from its handoff point in Core C through the landlord’s patch panels to Core B and then up to the first floor. To provide a dedicated connection for our client, we installed a Zetta termination enclosure alongside the landlord’s, linking them seamlessly with fibre patch leads.
An 8-core armoured fibre cable was then installed, running from the Zetta enclosure directly into the client’s comms cabinet, delivering secure, high-speed connectivity straight to their equipment. Additionally, we prepared provisions for a future link to their secondary comms room in Core A, giving the client an easy path to scale or add resilience as their needs evolve.
With Zetta’s solution, the client now benefits from a robust and scalable network link across the business park. This infrastructure not only supports current operations but ensures future flexibility, enabling rapid upgrades or secondary services without disruption.
