Challenge Overview

At 79 Clerkenwell, Lonodon, Zetta Connect was brought in to design and install a flexible plug-and-play network across multiple office floors. The building required dedicated connectivity for each floor, despite limited space for a landlord comms cabinet, a challenge that required a creative engineering solution.

The Zetta Solution

When initial surveys suggested there wasn’t enough space for a landlord cabinet, Zetta Connect engineered a custom wall-mounted steel enclosure, transforming a small CCTV cupboard into a fully functional comms hub.

From there, a full fibre backbone was installed to every floor, with dedicated longlines, switches, and dual access points providing plug-and-play connectivity and individual networks for each tenant floor. Guest Wi-Fi was also installed in the lobby and basement to enhance the visitor experience.

The Result

79 Clerkenwell now benefits from fast, reliable, and secure connectivity throughout the building, all powered by a tailored plug-and-play solution that maximises performance in a compact space.
