Union Court comprised several office and warehouse units that played host to tenants across a varied range of industries.
However, the construction and scattered layout of the buildings presented several problems. Tenants had reported that they faced significant challenges in accessing fibre services at an affordable price.
To solve these issues we were brought in to design, deploy and manage the landlord’s fibre infrastructure throughout the buildings.
We immediately formed a centralised comms location and a converged network. A new fibre carrier was installed, together with further enhancements designed to meet WiredScore Gold Certification.
Due to the size of the property, we utilised external fibre routing. Two high-capacity fibre trunk cables were then installed through their existing duct and chamber network. Sub-distribution from the trunk cables was made to serve each building and their internal demises.
Now tenants can enjoy affordable, easy-access fibre internet from any on-net provider – expanding their choices while minimising delays.
